We are looking at psychological similarities and differences between couples (such as husband and wife or 'partners'). Here we are focusing upon whether partners have similar preferences for body shapes. We are also, where the couple have children, looking at how the similarities and differences between parents may relate to family structure (e.g. number of biological sons and daughters) and autism spectrum conditions, such as Autism and Asperger Syndrome. The body shape images include photographs of women in bathing suits and cartoons of naked men and women from behind. The images have all been used in research before but if you are likely to find them offensive please do not take part.
By completing this questionnaire you acknowledge that you consent to our using the data you provide for research purposes. Your data will be anonymous (you cannot be identified from the responses you give) and will also be treated as confidential. You have the right to stop taking part or withdraw from the study at any time.
Because we need to link together the responses of both partners, we need you and your partner to enter the same unique ID code on the next page. You can choose any code you like, as long as you both use the same one. An example might be a variant of your post code or a word and number combination. Please don't use just a word or just a number as this is bound not to be unique.
Everybody taking part must be 18 years of age or older.
